After an incident with a water leak in the bathroom, I started phoning around for quotes for the Lounge and Hallway to be redecorated. I much prefer to use local people where possible so I contacted Tam for a quote.
Tam came the next day and quoted for the work and it turned out to be the cheapest offered so we went ahead. We arranged the best times for both and we were booked in.
Both rooms were wallpapered long before I took residence and given the age of the house I was hopeful to have just the walls painted and not papered.
Tam did a fantastic job of removing all the old wallpaper using his “patented” vinegar and water method and smoothed the walls down before painting. All work was tidied up as he went and although it took a number of days , the place never looked a mess. On keeping him supplied with coffee the work was over in no time and to a very high standard even by the wife’s standards.
I would not hesitate to contact Tam Weir Decorating Services the next time I need any decorating doing. Local knowledgeable guy who does exactly what he sets out to do and then some. Thankyou Tam for my new Lounge and Hallway.
